Role Overview

Districts rely on BackPR for decisions that affect enrollment, staffing, and community engagement. The Senior Director of Data and Analytics Strategy ensures the intelligence they receive is timely, accurate, and actionable.

You will direct data governance, architecture, and insight delivery across product, go-to-market, and customer-facing analytics offerings.

What you will lead

• Define the enterprise data strategy including architecture, governance, and quality frameworks.
• Launch new analytics products that contextualize student success, program performance, and operational health.
• Establish data contracts, lineage, and catalog tooling that empower teams to build with confidence.
• Mentor data strategists, analytics engineers, and BI developers working across product and business domains.

Experience that sets you up for success

• Executive ownership of data strategy or analytics center of excellence for high-growth SaaS organizations.
• Expertise in modern data stacks, including lakehouse architectures, reverse ETL, and semantic modeling.
• Demonstrated success delivering customer-facing dashboards or benchmarking products.
• Strong storytelling skills that translate complex data into decisions for superintendents and executives.

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary range: $215,000 - $255,000 USD with incentive plans tied to analytics adoption metrics.
