Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe at its standard rates. For nonprofits, BackPR adds nothing on top, and you choose whether to absorb the processing fee or pass it on to families.

What is BackPR?
BackPR is online registration and payment software for youth and community programs: camps, after-school programs, childcare, classes, sports, schools, PTAs and faith-based programs. It covers registration, forms and waivers, payments and payment plans, attendance and pickup, messaging and reporting.
Is BackPR really free for nonprofits?
Yes. Registered nonprofits pay no subscription and no BackPR fees. The only cost is card processing, which Stripe charges at its standard rates on each payment. You can absorb it or pass it on to families as a convenience fee.
How much does BackPR cost for businesses?
Camps, studios, schools and other organizations that aren't nonprofits get a quote based on their programs. There's no long-term contract, and onboarding and data import are free.
Do families pay a fee to BackPR?
No. BackPR never adds its own fee to what families pay.
Can we move from our current registration system?
Yes. Onboarding and data import are free. If your current system can export to a spreadsheet, and most can, we can bring your families and programs over.
Is BackPR available in Spanish?
Yes. Families can register and manage their account in Spanish.
